Steph was blessed to be able to stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort this past weekend. It was a weekend girls trip planned to honor and encourage Amy Brill as her and Greg prepare to leave for Ecuador within the month.

This past Wednesday our couples bible study was able to meet at Juli Tarver's home to learn how to make her infamous Apple Pie. How fun it was! We all made our own pie's and Alan and I are still enjoying ours. Here's to Juli's apple pie class!

Ah.... Summer Life - isn't is nice! This past weekend we spent all day Sunday relaxing at the Westin Kierland, where Alan's dad and step-mom have been staying for the past few days. Although nothing very exciting, we thought we'd post a few photo's!

This past weekend to had to get out of the crazy 100 degree weather in Phoenix - so we took a day trip to Fossil Springs. Margo had heard about this beautiful little retreat from a co-worker and thought the three of us should do it. So, we packed our bags Sunday morning and headed out. The drive was just under 2 hours and around 11 am we started our hike! Much to our surprise the hike was actually 4 miles one-way! Now the hike down wasn't too bad as we anticipated the fresh water of the falls. However, the 4 mile hike out was not too exciting.
Needless to say, we made it out just fine and all are still a bit sore from the excursion. :)
